“In April 1986, reactor No.4 of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant exploded. Helicopter pilots spent two weeks dumping thousands of tonnes of sand on the fire before it was finally extinguished. Soldiers then used wheelbarrows and shovels to collect radioactive rubble, which they tipped into the central heap. Finally construction crews arrived and built a steel and concrete containment structure over the reactor’s remains. They nicknamed it the Sarcophagus. It was badly constructed. It has corroded. Now it could collapse…..”
My new photography book studies two of the surrounding areas to the Chernobyl Nuclear power plant as well as the plant itself where a large scale engineering project is well under way. Foreword by Andrew Hankinson and designed by Tom Munckton the book is section sewn and has a unique fold out cover with an inner cover as well, reflecting the protective objectives of the New Safe Confinement documented in the book.

Here’s an “electrifying” shot I took while on assignment in Singapore. The storms there are pretty spectacular and after a period of torrential rain I hung on to get the shot. See more of my landscape work here.
Here are the shots I took of the incredible Lexus LFCC concept car in the beautiful San Bernardino mountain range. Commissioned by Winkreative and produced by Planet prepro. Lexus mag is out today!
Just leaving Singapore where I’ve been shooting for Four Seasons. Such an incredible place and epic when the tropical storms hit. Stand by for some electrifying landscape images!

Here are some shots I did earlier this year for the newly revamped Four Seasons magazine. I travelled to Paris to shoot the amazing Yue Minjun exhibition at the Cartier Foundation. “Yue Minjun’s paintings, with their colorful iconography, peopled by enigmatically laughing characters, reinvent the grotesque and its codes, while expressing an ironic and disillusioned vision of the social situation in contemporary China, as well as of the human condition in the modern world.”
I was in Paris a couple of weeks ago shooting at the famous Roland Garros tennis centre. Ads to follow soon….
